Michael Deshai Lee, a 51-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 27, 2022, at the University Gardens Condominiums in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The incident occurred just after 6:15 p.m., and responding officers found Michael Deshai Lee dead from a gunshot wound. Three other individuals were injured in the shooting but survived.
