Ezzard Charles Stroud Jr., a 50-year-old African American man, was found shot to death in his home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, on June 10, 2022. The Chapel Hill Police Department responded to the scene around 5:30 a.m. and discovered Stroud's body.
