Edward Young III, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2017, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the Red Roof Inn on Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard. Young was shot in the early hours of the morning and was subsequently transported to Duke University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
