Marcus Lee Moore, a 29-year-old African American male, was found shot and killed in the road on White Street in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, on August 27, 2022. The tragic incident occurred around 12:07 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they discovered Marcus Lee Moore with a fatal gunshot wound. His untimely death left his family and community in mourning.
