Dominic Ray Salazar, an 18-year-old Latino male, tragically passed away on December 4, 2022, after being shot on November 15, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dominic was shot at Fred Alexander Park on Griers Grove Road, along with his 17-year-old adopted brother, Damien Gonzalez, who died at the scene. Dominic was rushed to the hospital in critical condition and fought for his life for nearly three weeks before succumbing to his injuries.
