Maurice Paige Jr., a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in South Charlotte, North Carolina, on May 8, 2022. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Deep Rock Circle, where firefighters and medics responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, they found Maurice Paige Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
