Zavier Ellis, a 15-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 13, 2016, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Sherington Way in East Charlotte, where Zavier was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the Carolinas Medical Center for treatment but succumbed to his injuries two days later.
