Donna F. Ponsano, a 31-year-old woman, was tragically killed on March 27, 1991, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She worked as a cook at Cajun's Fabulous Fried Chicken restaurant on Florida Boulevard. On the morning of her death, Donna was preparing to open the restaurant when Feltus Taylor, a former employee who had been fired two weeks earlier, entered the establishment. Taylor, who was experiencing financial difficulties, asked the restaurant manager, Keith Clark, to rehire him, but Clark refused.
