Brimming with life, she then ventured out for a night of dancing, visiting several clubs, including the Rumba Café, the Russia House, and Bravo Bravo. Security footage from her apartment building on 16th Street NW captured her returning home alone around 2:30 a.m. on November 1st. This would be the last time she was seen alive.
Two days later, on November 2, 2009, after Nora failed to show up for a catering event, a growing sense of unease led her brother and sister to her apartment. When she didn't answer the door, they enlisted the help of a security guard to gain entry. Inside, they made a devastating discovery: Nora was found deceased in her bed.
