On a spring morning in Louisiana, the life of Jeremy Watkins, a 27-year-old male, was brought to a violent and tragic end. In the early hours of Saturday, May 9, 2009, Watkins was shot inside his residence in the 400 block of Wilson Drive in Marrero, a community near New Orleans. The incident left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him as a loving father to his young daughter.
