On the evening of February 13, 2023, a triple shooting in Marrero, Louisiana, claimed the life of 26-year-old Norman Bell, a Black male from Avondale. The incident occurred near the intersection of Acre Road and Buccola Avenue, where Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered two men with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was treated at the scene, while Bell was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A third individual, also suffering from a gunshot wound believed to be from the same incident, later arrived at West Jefferson Medical Center for treatment.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office has confirmed that their homicide section is actively investigating the shooting. However, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the death of Norman Bell.
