Hassan Armand Veal, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2021, in Marrero, Louisiana. Hassan was a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, pursuing a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He was also employed as a parking valet with the Hilton Hotel and worked for Norwegian Cruise Line. Hassan was a 2020 graduate of the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy and was known for his dedication and hard work.
