On a cool February evening in Marrero, Louisiana, the life of 39-year-old Tyrone Jenkins Jr. was tragically cut short. On February 2, 2014, Jenkins was fatally wounded in a shooting incident that also left a second man injured. The event unfolded around 8 p.m. in the 700 block of Pailet Avenue.
