Deshon Evans, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 8, 2013, in Marrero, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 5900 block of Becker Street shortly before 2 a.m. Evans was pronounced dead at the scene, while his 19-year-old friend, Jonquell Neal, was also shot and subsequently taken to the hospital for surgery.
