Owen Griffin, a 45-year-old male, was tragically killed on August 30, 1982, in Marrero, Louisiana. His death was part of a horrific incident where five people lost their lives. The victims included Owen Griffin, his wife Myrtle Griffin , their stepdaughter Sheila Thomas , Sheila's daughter Chantelle Osborne , and Carl Osborne, the father of the child. The perpetrator, Leslie Lowenfield, was Owen Griffin's former boyfriend.
