Marcus Alexander Galtney, Sr., a 25-year-old African American male, was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana, though he was originally from Oakland, California. A graduate of L.W. Higgins High School, he was known by those close to him for his vibrant and playful personality. His life, however, was tragically cut short in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 14, 2016.
