In the late afternoon of a Sunday in Marrero, Louisiana, the sound of gunfire shattered the calm, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Thirty-year-old Derrick Kinchen was killed on March 5, 2023, in a shooting that also left two other men wounded.
