Tory Tyrell Sanders, a 35-year-old African American male, passed away on December 5, 2014, in Marrero, Louisiana. He was a native of Marrero and a longtime resident of Gretna, Louisiana. Sanders was the father of Tory Tyrrell Sanders, Jr. and Shiobhan Riley Sanders, and the son of Cornel and Sheron Sanders. He was also the brother of Colby Sanders and the grandson of the late Esther "Queen" Eugene and Riley Sanders, Sr. His death was a significant loss to his family and community.
