Braxton Dent, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on the evening of Friday, July 20, 2018, in his hometown of Marrero, Louisiana. The incident that led to his untimely death unfolded outside a bar on Ames Boulevard, a scene that quickly turned from a typical night out to one of violence and loss.
