Marcus Thomas, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on July 9, 2009, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His death was a significant loss to his family and community. Marcus was survived by his parents, Michelle Queen and Mark Phillips, his sister, Colodiuse Bowie, and three brothers, Morris Schofield, Mark Bowie, and Frank Bowie.
