Marcus Thomas was found dead in Baton Rouge on July 9, 2009, after a predawn discovery that turned an ordinary driveway into a crime scene. He was a 24-year-old Black male. Before sunrise, police were called to the 6000 block of Byron Street to check on a suspicious vehicle, and they arrived to find the bodies of three people inside a Honda Accord parked in a driveway.
