In the late hours of March 5, 2018, the life of 25-year-old Eddie Samuels was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was discovered face down on the ground at the Summer Grove Condo complex located at 12020 Florida Blvd., suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Samuels succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He was an African American man whose violent death sent ripples through the local community.
