In the winter of 2013, the community of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was struck by the sudden and tragic loss of Travon Drakell Wilson. An 18-year-old African American male, Travon was a student at McKinley High School where he was an active and engaged member of both the football team and the ROTC program.
