A 17-year-old Black male, Marvin Deon Lewis Jr., was shot and killed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on the evening of Tuesday, October 28, 2014. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of North 49th Street.

According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting and found Lewis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have yet to publicly identify any suspects or a motive in the shooting. T ...
