On March 10, 2024, 18-year-old Ka'Von Dwayne London was fatally shot in the early morning hours in the 2200 block of Scenic Gardens Avenue in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Two juveniles also sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the incident. The Baton Rouge Police Department later arrested 19-year-old Kevonta Williams in connection with the shooting, charging him with second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, and illegal use of a weapon.
