In the late summer of 2019, the life of 23-year-old Elijah Weems was cut tragically short in a violent encounter that unfolded in a Roswell, Georgia condominium complex. On August 28th, police responded to a 911 call from a man who stated that he and two others had been shot at the Roswell Pointe Condominiums. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a grim scene: one man was already deceased, and two others were suffering from gunshot wounds.
Weems was one of the victims who was transported to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The other deceased victim was identified as 19-year-old Letreyveonn Wise. A third man survived the shooting. Investigators soon pieced together a narrative suggesting the violence erupted from a drug-related robbery that had been initiated by Wise. In a grim twist, authorities believe that during a struggle, Wise was killed by his own accomplices.
The investigation led to the arrests of four individuals in connection with the double homicide. Jayson Michael Harris, 21, Paris Terrell Holland, 27, Alyssa Katherine Locke, 19, and Ramsey Elisabeth Pack, 19, were all taken into custody. Each of the four suspects faced a string of serious charges, including two counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault, as they were implicated in the events that led to the deaths of both Elijah Weems and Letreyveonn Wise.
