In the late summer of 2019, the life of 19-year-old LeTreyveonn Wise of Sandy Springs, Georgia, was cut short in a violent encounter. On August 28, 2019, the young African American male was involved in a triple shooting at the Roswell Pointe Condominiums in Roswell. The incident, which unfolded in the early morning hours, also claimed the life of 23-year-old Elijah Weems of McDonough and left a third individual wounded.
Roswell police were dispatched to the condominium complex on Lake Pointe Circle around 1:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from one of the victims stating that he and two others had been shot. Upon their arrival, officers discovered one man deceased at the scene. Two other victims, including Wise, were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Wise ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators quickly determined that the shooting was not a random act of violence but was connected to drug activity. Their investigation led them to believe that the incident stemmed from a drug-related robbery that Wise himself had initiated. Police stated that during a struggle that ensued during the robbery, Wise was fatally shot by his own accomplices.
In the days following the deadly shooting, law enforcement officials announced the arrests of four individuals in connection with the case. Jayson Michael Harris, 21, of Norcross; Paris Terrell Holland, 27, of Roswell; Alyssa Katherine Locke, 19, of Atlanta; and Ramsey Elisabeth Pack, 19, of Milton, were all taken into custody. Each of the four suspects was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault for their alleged roles in the deaths of Wise and Weems and the injury of the third victim.
