In a tragic incident on August 4, 2024, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a young life was cut short. Two-year-old Devonte Dawnell Joseph Chambers Jr., a Black male, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The devastating event unfolded in a home on Sora Drive in the afternoon.
