In the early evening of January 3, 2010, the life of Wardell Edwards, a male, was tragically cut short by gun violence in New Orleans. The fatal incident unfolded just after 9 p.m. in the 4100 block of Cadillac Street.

Responding to reports of a shooting, emergency services arrived at the scene to find Mr. Edwards suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to render aid, he was pronounced dead at the location.
