LaDean McDaniel, a 57-year-old woman from St. Joseph, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on August 13, 2013. She was one of two hostages taken during a harrowing 12-hour standoff at the Tensas State Bank. The incident began when Fuaed Abdo Ahmed, a 20-year-old man, took three bank employees hostage.
