On a tragic day in August 2013, the small town of St. Joseph, Louisiana, was rocked by a violent hostage situation that ultimately claimed the life of a female bank employee, Tamara LaDean 'Deannie' McDaniel. The harrowing ordeal unfolded at the Tensas State Bank branch where McDaniel, along with two of her long-time colleagues, Patricia White and Charles Henry 'Jay' Warbington, Jr., were taken captive by a 20-year-old gunman named Fuaed Abdo Ahmed.
