Keyiona Dionta Chenevert, an 18-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on January 21, 2013, in Bayou Vista, Louisiana. She was found dead in her apartment on Three B’s Lane, having suffered a single gunshot wound to the back of her head. The investigation revealed that the gun was fired from more than six inches away, but the exact distance could not be determined. The medical examiner confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
