In the late afternoon hours of a December Thursday in Nairn, Louisiana, a hunting trip among three young friends turned into a tragedy. Eighteen-year-old Galen Scott, a male, was hog hunting with two close companions when the outing took a devastating turn. The group was in a remote area just south of Port Sulphur when the incident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m.
