Mekhi Darville, a 17-year-old African American male from Gonzales, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on November 11, 2022. Mekhi was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Fuel Smart on South Burnside Avenue.
