Tanner McKenzie Ernest, a 17-year-old male from Gonzales, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2019. Tanner, who was known for his quick wit and unfaltering sense of humor, was a beloved member of his community. He was a junior at Denham Springs High School and had a deep passion for music and basketball. Tanner's life was cut short in a horrific incident that also claimed the lives of his sister, Summer Ernest, and his father, Billy Ernest.
