Death by Force

Valerie West, a 19-year-old woman from Lafayette, Louisiana, was found dead on June 30, 2014. Her body was discovered on the side of Gazette Road, about a block away from her home on Madame Germaine Street. Valerie had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, which was determined to be the cause of her death. The Lafayette Parish Coroner's Office confirmed that she had been shot once in the head, and the wound was described as being inflicted in a suspicious manner.
