Dejuan Kennedy, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2014, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred at a home in the 4100 block of Jacobs Street. Kennedy was shot in the upper body with a semi-automatic rifle by Kevin Ray Bowers, a 30-year-old Shreveport resident. Bowers was later apprehended by U.S. Marshals.
