James Arthur Bennett Jr., a 45-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 24, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bennett was a patrolman with the Housing Authority of New Orleans Police Department and had previously served with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office for 13 years.
