Makayla Jones, an 18-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on July 12, 2015, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:30 a.m., in the 1000 block of North Donmoor Avenue. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the event was a murder-suicide, where Makayla Jones was one of the victims.
