Jillian Johnson, a 33-year-old woman from Lafayette, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on July 23, 2015, in a mass shooting at the Grand 16 Theatre in Lafayette. Jillian, a beloved artist and business owner, was attending a movie when a gunman, identified as 59-year-old John Russell Houser, opened fire inside the theater. The shooting resulted in the deaths of Jillian Johnson and another victim, Mayci Breaux, and left nine others injured.
