In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Lafayette, Louisiana, the sound of gunfire shattered the night, leading to the tragic discovery of 24-year-old Marisha M. Felix. Officers responded to reports of shots fired and found a vehicle that had crashed, its exterior riddled with bullet holes. Inside, they found Felix, a female resident of Lafayette, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
