Marisha M. Felix, a 24-year-old African American woman from Lafayette, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on March 1, 2018. She was found dead in her car at the Himbola Manor Apartment Complex, located in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m., and Felix was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. Her car had rolled and crashed into a fence, where her body was found.
