Morris M. Bates Sr., a 35-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on December 12, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head in the 3100 block of General Ogden Street, near the intersection of Forshey Street. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately investigated as a potential homicide.
