On a Sunday night in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the life of 17-year-old Roy Veal was tragically cut short. On February 29, 2016, a knock at the door of his family's home on Madison Avenue would be the prelude to a fatal encounter. It was around 10 p.m. when Veal, a male teenager, went outside to see who was there.
