In the spring of 2016, a family argument in Natchitoches, Louisiana, ended in tragedy, leaving a father dead and his son facing a lifetime of consequences. On the morning of March 5, 2016, police responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on Scoot Loop. Inside, they discovered the body of 39-year-old Marlon Ray Rachal Sr., a Black male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
