In the late hours of Saturday, January 10, 2026, the life of 19-year-old Curtis Doty, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Officers from the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of Dorothy Street around 10:44 p.m. following reports of a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered Doty suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
