In the quiet city of Natchitoches, Louisiana, the life of a 58-year-old Black male named Eric Jackson was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, October 25, 2025, the sound of gunfire shattered the peace in the 1800 block of South Drive. Around 8:55 p.m., officers from the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunshots.
