In the late hours of a Saturday night in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the life of 18-year-old Justin Walker, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On May 28, 2016, at approximately 11:09 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night on Thomas Street, near the intersection of Howell Street. When officers from the Natchitoches Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Justin Walker suffering from several gunshot wounds.
