LaKendrick Brown, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2016, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred just before noon in the 3300 block of Bond Drive, north of Cross Lake near Southern University. Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a double shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men had been shot, one fatally wounded.
