In the late hours of a Tuesday in Houma, Louisiana, a domestic dispute turned deadly, claiming the life of 17-year-old David Trahan Jr.. The tragic events unfolded on October 25, 2016, when 42-year-old Rhubin Scott Jr. confronted his ex-girlfriend at her workplace, causing a disturbance that led to his removal. Later that evening, at approximately 11 p.m., the ex-girlfriend went to her mother's home on Bayou Blue, and Scott followed her there.
