In the fall of 2016, the life of 22-year-old Alvin Trigs Jr. was tragically cut short in New Orleans. On the evening of Wednesday, October 26, 2016, Alvin was in an apartment in the 2600 block of Poydras Street, not far from the New Orleans Police Department headquarters, when he was fatally shot.
