On a Tuesday evening, the community on Arbor Lake Drive in Chester, Virginia, was disrupted by the sound of gunfire. It was December 28, 2021, when Chesterfield County Police received multiple calls around 5:45 p.m. reporting that shots had been fired in the 6800 block of the residential street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a young man who had been shot.
