Demaj Montae Felder, a 19-year-old from Chester, Virginia, tragically lost his life on March 12, 2021, in a shooting incident at an Exxon gas station located at 9900 Chester Road. The incident occurred late at night, around 10:50 PM, when officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Felder inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
